I have a really exciting announcement to share. I have partnered with Bayer Healthcare as a spokesperson for a really great new campaign and initiative they've launched called The Timeline Project.

What I love about this project is that it's about helping women discover their best selves. That's an incredible thing for anyone to tackle, and a really amazing thing for a brand to participate in.

Our choices, as women, have huge impacts on our lives and the lives of our friends and family. Where should we live? What opportunities are there to help our careers? Will we get married? Will we have kids? What is on our bucket list?

It's a lot to think about every day. It's a lot to "take on."

Bayer Healthcare and The Timeline Project team and agencies were really excited to bring me this opportunity because of my passion, background and dedication to women and girls. I try really hard to "be the change I wish to see in the world" and that's not just a line. I volunteer locally and travel to volunteer with groups and communities that I support. I write checks. I mentor young women. I support my friends when they need help, advice or frankly just time to talk through what is going on in their lives.

I believe deeply in being our best selves and in my opinion that takes a lot of individual work but also a strong support network and a feeling on confidence. That I can do this mentality.

Sometimes when I write, I find myself nervous to press publish. Especially on really personal stories or growth, of how I handled change, of some important marker in my life that left an impact on me. But almost always, when I do publish those stories, those are the times that I get emails of encouragement saying thank you for sharing something personal. Something real.

It's this hard work that I point to and credit for brining me an opportunity like this one from Bayer Healthcare. An opportunity to talk to women and girls about their dreams, their goals, their ambitions. It's really cool and I'm honored to be a part of this project.

The Timeline Project is a fun way to put all of those goals down, set times for when we think we'll accomplish them and then check back to see how we did.

Along the journey, I'll be sharing some of my own goals here on my blog, on social media, and at media events for The Timeline Project.

So what are my top goals? I feel like they're always changing but here are 5 that are important to me:

  1. Donate to charity
  2. Spend time with friends and family
  3. Go on an adventure
  4. Learn a new language
  5. Compete in a race
