Tom's suggestions are great, I do the same myself (I have the folders of half-thoughts to prove it). The "blank" is telling you something, that you haven't processed everything enough to do your story justice. When you're ready, the stories will flow. Trust yourself. From there... they just seem to flow. Suggestion: when I get like that... having all that stuff in my head but nothing on the screen, I just open the moleskin or Word and type or write. No thought, no form, just type/write. Total random stuff comes out. Then stop. Come back to it the next day, early in the morning when you mind is still quiet before the hectic buzz of life starts. Look at it, but not in hopes of finding a theme. Just look at it, like you used to do with those 3D pics in the 80's... something usually comes together. A narrative, a storyline, something... and then presto -- you have a blog post. Can't wait to see you in NOLA for the party.
