Drew – You’re totally right. Social media and how it can bring us all together is such a powerful tool when used the right way. Kate – You’re a rockstar! We had such an incredible time in Seattle. Thank you for being a dynamite host. Honestly you showed US the power of hosts and getting people involved and excited about a project. You can do anything now, I give you certified wings of gold. Go off and raise money for causes (and let me know how it goes)!

Sloane and Doug, you guys rock! It was a pleasure to meet you, and I had blast being a part of this. We had an all-star team in Seattle, and the night was a success!

I learned so much from this event, but most importantly, I learned that global causes aren’t as overwhelming as I used to think. Initially, I suffered from the typical “How could little ol’ me possibly help?” syndrome, but this event made the goal of malaria prevention seem so attainable! I could help someone in Ghana for as little as $5 and about two degrees of separation! That’s something everyone could do!

You guys made it so easy to help other people in this world. Being a part of this was educational and inspiring. Thank you both.

PS – call me when you’re up for some more karaoke
