I think the key to these festivals is to have a general plan of who you'd like to see, but allow yourself to explore other (closer, shorter lines, lesser known acts) bands as well. The whole spirit of the festival is to discover something new. I saw nearly 40 bands myself by following this formula- many of whom I'd pay cover to see again, easily. If you do decide to wait in line for more than 5-10 minutes, always make new music buddies. You can learn a lot from the people in line with you- who they've enjoyed, venues with bad sound etc. Can't wait for next year! GREAT tips!
