		<description>I completely agree with you on this post. You know, its so different when you go to a place for vacation and when you go to a place to make a difference. You immerse yourself a hundred times over and its just so hard to leave. There probably isnt a day where I don&#039;t miss the sights, the smells, the tastes, and especially the people of the Philippines. I&#039;m so glad you were able to experience this. Yes, the country needs a bit of healing -- but overall I think the strongest part of it is its determination, heart, and passion. Nowhere else in the world can someone be so poverty stricken, yet have so much faith and love that they keep on going every day.

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences in the Philippines. I&#039;m sure you&#039;ve made such a great difference in people&#039;s lives there.
