Every industry has their rockstars. The nonprofit and online fundraising communities are so incredibly privileged to have Beth Kanter as theirs. An advocate for thoughtful cultivation of donors online and off, a proponent for transparency in fundraising, a tireless advocate for causes she believe in and a true educator for all who want to learn the ins and out of nonprofit management, online tools and creating social impact communities, Beth Kanter is a woman I admire and aspire to be like.

Today is Beth’s 53rd birthday, and I encourage you to support her campaign to send 53 children in Cambodia to school. Through a gift of only $10, you can help Beth reach her goal. Make a donation HERE on Facebook.

In celebration of Beth’s birthday campaign and my own Cause It’s My Birthday campaign that I did with Doug Campbell to raise money for malaria nets for Ghana, I will be posting other stories of people who dedicated their birthday to cause this whole week. So stay tuned to read other inspiring stories all week on The Causemopolitan!
