My wife and I have adopted one of our daughters from a family who resides in a similar situation in Payatas, Tondo, Metro Manila. She visited her family recently which got me thinking about ways to help that situation. We cannot simply adopt all nine of her brothers and sisters but I have an idea. We recently acquired a biodiesel refinery and jatropha curcas farm in Bauan, Batangas. There is ample land to relocate all of these people and provide them with proper housing. They can be gainfully employed in the production of biofuels. Properly managed we can improve their situation 100-fold and put them into sustainable environmentally friendly work.
